\"\"Hermanos y hermanas mayores, autoridades espirituales de las naciones originarias de Abya Yala, el continente americano, se reunieron en la Pen\u00ednsula de Yucat\u00e1n, M\u00e9xico del 28 de abril al 9 de mayo de 2021 para conformar el Gran Consejo del \u00c1guila y el C\u00f3ndor. Su creaci\u00f3n materializa el primero de cuatro Mandatos de la Tierra que fueron entregados a los Mamos de la Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Colombia, en mayo de 2013.<\/p>\n

Este encuentro de los Mayores fue posible gracias a mucha preparaci\u00f3n espiritual y tambi\u00e9n gracias al apoyo financiero y log\u00edstico de organizaciones que se unieron incondicionalmente en respuesta a la Madre Tierra. Las organizaciones son Grounded, The Fountain for the Natural Order of Our Existence, Earth Timekeepers, International Council on Environmental Economics and Developments (ICEED) y Corporaci\u00f3n Nueva Humanidad.<\/p>\n

La mayor\u00eda de los encuentros y ceremonias se llevaron a cabo en el Centro Ceremonial Humanidad Nueva en Chichimil\u00e1, muy cerca de Valladolid, en el estado de Yucat\u00e1n.<\/p>\n

Se realizaron ceremonias de fuego sagrado y mesas de di\u00e1logo para tomar decisiones, despejar el camino y conversar sobre el trabajo a desarrollar, respetando el consenso y participaci\u00f3n de todos los asistentes presenciales (ver Anexo para la agenda de visitas a lugares sagrados y trabajo realizado).<\/p>\n

El Gran Consejo ha surgido en respuesta a uno de los Cuatro Mandatos de la Madre Tierra recibido en mayo de 2013 en la Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Colombia. Los Cuatro Mandatos de la Tierra son:<\/p>\n

1) Crear un Gran Consejo (Consejo de los 52)<\/p>\n

2) Proteger los Sitios Sagrados Bioculturales. Reactivar los sitios sagrados de valor biocultural es un primer paso en la demarcaci\u00f3n de territorios con valor biocultural.<\/p>\n

3) Crear Casas de Pensamiento Original. Construir casas de pensamiento original en los lugares de origen de los integrantes del Gran Consejo para la revitalizaci\u00f3n de los saberes y pr\u00e1cticas del 'Vivir Bien'.<\/p>\n

4) Promover el Intercambio Intercultural. Abrir espacios de di\u00e1logo donde nuestras filosof\u00edas y cosmovisiones sean reconocidas y respetadas y donde se construyan iniciativas concretas de acuerdo con los instrumentos legales existentes, como el Convenio 169 de la OIT y la Declaraci\u00f3n de las Naciones Unidas sobre los Derechos de los Pueblos Ind\u00edgenas.<\/p>\n

La conformaci\u00f3n del Gran Consejo es fundamental para ayudar a la humanidad a regresar a la vida en armon\u00eda con la Madre Tierra, y tambi\u00e9n para que las comunidades y familias se comprometan a vivir de acuerdo a las instrucciones originales de la sabidur\u00eda ancestral.<\/p>\n

Es una autoridad espiritual y gu\u00eda de las Naciones Originarias, y como tal debe ser reconocida. Su mensaje debe ser escuchado en todo el mundo.<\/p>\n

El Consejo ser\u00e1 reconocido por los Pueblos Originarios y sus instituciones, y responder\u00e1 a sus necesidades y las de la Madre Tierra.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s, el Consejo ser\u00e1 reconocido por las instituciones de los estados nacionales como entidad o sujeto de derecho.<\/p>\n

Este Consejo est\u00e1 compuesto por tres c\u00edrculos conc\u00e9ntricos:<\/strong><\/p>\n

El primero est\u00e1 compuesto por 7 representantes de todas las regiones del continente Abya-Yala (Isla Tortuga o Am\u00e9rica). El segundo incluir\u00e1 a los 7 y traer\u00e1 6 miembros de biorregiones de los otros continentes para completar 13; se consolidar\u00e1 el pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o 2022. Cada miembro de los 13 elegir\u00e1 luego a tres m\u00e1s de su regi\u00f3n para completar 52 miembros en 2025. En su conjunto, el Gran Consejo estar\u00e1 representado por las biorregiones de las naciones nativas ancestrales de todo el mundo.<\/p>\n

El primer C\u00edrculo se llama el Consejo del \u00c1guila y el C\u00f3ndor - Consejo de los Siete. Se form\u00f3 en mayo de 2021 en el Centro Ceremonial de Chichimil\u00e1, Yucat\u00e1n, M\u00e9xico por: Tata Wanka Inti (Per\u00fa), Lawentuchefe Francisca Calfin (Chile), Tata Crist\u00f3bal Cojti (Guatemala), Tata Mindahi Bastida, Jefe Ninawa Huni Kui (Brasil) , Tata Mike Abisoontse Giisis (Canad\u00e1), Mama Vivian Camacho (Bolivia).<\/p>\n

Este Consejo se fortalece gracias a los Guardianes del Conocimiento (Amautas) quienes colaborar\u00e1n en diferentes equipos. Ellos son: Tata Julio y Nana Yani (M\u00e9xico), Tata Emilio Guadalupe (Yucat\u00e1n, M\u00e9xico), Tata Puma y Mama Teresa (Ecuador), Tata Marcelo (Bolivia), Tata Armando (M\u00e9xico), Tata Jorge (Nuevo M\u00e9xico), Mama Emma (Argentina), Diana Uqualla (Estados Unidos).<\/p>\n

Mamo Manuel y su hijo Narciso del sagrado Pueblo Kogui de Colombia nos acompa\u00f1aron guiados por la sabidur\u00eda y claridad sobre la importancia del nacimiento del Gran Consejo.<\/p>\n

Compromisos del Consejo:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Entre las principales funciones del Consejo est\u00e1n: preparar propuestas, declaraciones y posiciones sobre el respeto a los Derechos de la Madre Tierra para reuniones de alto nivel como la ONU, COP de Cambio Clim\u00e1tico, COP de Biodiversidad (CDB). Adem\u00e1s, trabajar\u00e1 en campa\u00f1as de promoci\u00f3n y concientizaci\u00f3n sobre los siguientes temas: Territorios Bioculturales, Primeras Naciones, Humanidad \u2013 Naturaleza y Madre Tierra interconectadas; a nivel local, regional y mundial.<\/p>\n

Para este a\u00f1o el Gran Consejo tiene previsto estar en la Conferencia de las Partes de la Cumbre Mundial del Clima (COP26). El Consejo pretende brindar orientaci\u00f3n y recomendaciones a los tomadores de decisiones sobre biodiversidad, cambio clim\u00e1tico y otros temas que sean de sumo inter\u00e9s para garantizar la integridad de sus territorios as\u00ed como la libre determinaci\u00f3n de sus pueblos de conformidad con el Tratado 169 de la Internacional del Trabajo.
