Sudamérica

South America, South America or South America is one of the three subcontinents belonging to the Abya Yala. This region is located in the south of the American continent, surrounded by the Colombian and Venezuelan coasts of the Caribbean Sea, reaching the continental coast of the Pacific Ocean. It is made up of a group of thirteen countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay and Venezuela.

Most of these nations were invaded by the Spanish and Portuguese colonies. Among the geographical accidents we can find the Andes mountain range, from the current Tachira region in Venezuela to Tierra del Fuego in Argentina, crossing Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Chile.
